Our services are designed to help hospitals optimise their resources by using Healthcare at Home's experienced team of nurses. We already have teams of nurses trained in the following specialist areas :-

• Oncology - our oncology nurses can set up and operate complete chemotherapy clinics on your behalf. Or they can help you staff your existing outpatient service.
• Multiple Sclerosis - Disease Modifying therapies and IV methyl-prednisone for relapsing-remitting conditions
• Rheumatoid Arthritis - Immuno-modulating therapies and Osteoporosis
• Paediatrics - Growth Hormone and Enzyme deficiency
• Fertility - including IV immunoglobulin therapy
  

In addition our nurses can provide holiday or sickness cover for your specialist hospital staff at short notice - far more reliably and cost effectively than agency nurses can. If you have specialist nurse vacancies, then we can place our nurses with you on an interim basis until you recruit a suitable replacement.

Our nurses can assist in the hospital setting too by providing highly technical services such as the insertion of PICC lines - extending the facilities available to your consultants and patients.

Our nurses are able to provide structured IV training and assessment for your staff, building up your skill mix and facilitating professional development for your nurses. Via on-call our nurses are able to provide advice and support to hospital staff on technical aspects of patient care and oncology related issues.

The fact that Healthcare at Home is not an Agency means the same nurses will be available to run your clinics on a regular basis, giving continuity for your patients and better communication with your staff.
